We are super excited to bring you two new coffees this week! After a much anticipated wait we can finally announce our newest Heritage Coffees – here to stay for the foreseeable future. We cover a wide variety of coffee profiles from bolder blends to medium and lighter single origins, but what we only had one off so far was a decaf coffee and, being a big decaf drinker myself, I always wanted to give my fellow decaf drinkers more choice.
Thus, I’m extremely happy to introduce you to Sycamore Gap, a beautiful new naturally decaffeinated coffee from Brazil, and Causey Arch, a low-caf, or half caffeinated post roast blend coffee, combining our new Brazilian decaf with our delightful Ugandan St. Cuthbert’s Journey coffee.

Our Sycamore Gap Decaf coffee has been named after the iconic Sycamore Gap Tree, in remembrance of this much loved emblem of the North East of England.

Being big decaf drinkers ourselves we wanted to expand our range to give others avoiding or reducing caffeine more variety and choice too. This wonderful new decaffeinated coffee comes from Brazil and has been roasted to a medium light profile, making it lighter than our original Colombian Finchale Priory Decaf, and suiting the pour over brewing method beautifully.

Our Sycamore Gap Brazilian Decaf Coffee Is a medium light roast with flavour notes of stewed plum and nougat. It has been hand roasted in Sacriston, County Durham.

Our new Causey Arch Low-Caf Coffee bridges the gap between caffeinated coffee and decaf, bringing you the best of both worlds with a deliciously reduced caffeine coffee blend. Our Causey Arch Low-Caf Coffee is a post roast blend that combines the wonderful sweet nougaty flavours of our Brazilian Sycamore Gap Decaf with the lighter sharper blackcurrant floral notes from our Ugandan St. Cuthbert’s Journey.
