Coffee Roasting Experience

Saturday the 11th of May from 10am – 1pm

Join us on our Coffee Roasting Experience for a fun morning, exploring the fascinating work of a coffee roaster. In this course we will learn more about coffee around the world, talk about processing methods and the challenges of roast profiling and consistency. Through hands-on experience, roasting and taste testing various roast profiles, you will deepen your coffee knowledge and become more confident navigating the wonderful world of coffee.

• Sample roasting

• Coffee cupping

Included in the course:

• As much coffee as you can drink
• Some nibbles
• A bag of your very own roasted coffee

Duration: 3hs

Cost: £80 per person

Location: Durham Coffee Roastery – AMR Building, Sacriston Industrial Estate, Plawsworth Road, Sacriston, DH7 6JX, Durham

Accessibility: There are no steps to access our roastery and the floor is flat throughout, as well as parking outside on the same level. The only small aspect wheelchair users may not be able to access is a view into our roasting chambers which will be too high. However we do have video’s to show instead to overcome this obstacle. Please do get in touch to discuss or if there are any further questions. Our toilet is a fully accessible disabled toilet.
