Home Brew Course

Join us on our Home Brew Course as we delve into the wonderful world of coffee. We will introduce you to some interesting coffee facts and show you how to prepare great coffee at home. Our Home Brew Course will teach you about various brewing methods from the V60 to the AeroPress, give you the opportunity for hands-on experimenting and of course plenty of coffee tasting; so make sure you are coffee thirsty! After completing our Home Brew Course you will be ready to impress your visitors at home with your coffee expertise.

Requirements: For Beginners and people who want to top-up their coffee knowledge – no previous experience necessary.

Content:

• Basic coffee knowledge: What is coffee? Farming – Roasting – Brewing
• The Importance of Freshness & Brewing Guidelines
• Learning about and comparing different brewing methods (V60 – Cafetiere – AeroPress – Mokka  Pot)
• Hands-on Brewing and plenty of coffee tasting

Included in the course:

• As much coffee as you can drink
• Some nibbles
• Complementary 250g bag of coffee

Duration: 3hs (10am – 1pm)

Cost: £75 per person

Location: Durham Coffee Roastery – AMR Building (Unit 8), Sacriston Industrial Estate, Plawsworth Road, Sacriston, DH7 6JX, Durham

Accessibility: There are no steps to access our roastery and the floor is flat throughout, as well as parking outside on the same level. Please do get in touch to discuss any queries. Our toilet is a fully accessible disabled toilet.
